Tips for success

Ready to turn your closet treasures into earnings?
Here's everything you need to know to get started. We provide all the essentials — racks, hangers, price tags, and security elements — so you can focus on selling your best pieces.

What we welcome

We accept women’s and men’s clothing, footwear, and accessories in excellent condition.

Per rack, you may include:

  • Up to 40 clothing items
  • Up to 5 pairs of shoes
  • Up to 5 accessories
  • Bonus: each seller may also include up to 10 children’s clothing or footwear items at no extra cost

During your rental period, you are welcome to add new items to your rack as your pieces sell. New items must be registered by the previous working day so we can prepare the price tags.

All items must be clean, authentic, and free from damage or odour.

We do not accept underwear, swimwear unless new with tags, fur, ultra-fast fashion, counterfeit goods, unsafe goods, or illegal items.

Items with a resale value above CHF 1,500 require prior approval.

Quality first

Ensure all garments are in excellent condition, freshly washed, and steamed or ironed. You can use our steamer for any last-minute touch-ups.

Season smart

While seasonal pieces tend to sell best during their natural time, quality items can find buyers year-round. A summer dress might sell in winter for holiday planning, and a coat might find a buyer in summer.

Choose stylish & timeless

Focus on current styles and popular brands. Classic, well-maintained pieces from quality labels always perform well.

Curate your selection

Keep your rack organized with approximately 40 items on the hangers, plus up to 5 pairs of footwear, and 5 accessories for easy browsing—customers appreciate a well-spaced display over crowded racks. You're welcome to bring more items during your rental period and refresh your selection as pieces sell.

Price thoughtfully

Pricing is entirely up to you and depends on your personal goals. If your main aim is to give a new home to as many items as possible, setting lower prices can increase the likelihood of selling. If you'd prefer to maximize earnings, you can price higher, but keep in mind that some pieces may stay unsold. A good rule of thumb is to set prices at about one-third of the original value (for example, an item bought for CHF 90 could be priced around CHF 30). If the piece is new with tags, you can aim for roughly half of the original price.

Consider end-of-period discounts

You can offer a discount on unsold items toward the end of your rental period. This helps to sell items that might otherwise go home unsold. You can set this discount preference when signing the contract or by emailing our staff to let them know in advance.

Spread the word

Tell your friends and share your rack on social media! Include your rack number and tag us on instagram @reVue_market. Great photos of your pieces help drive sales. We also showcase treasures from different racks on our social media to boost visibility.

Security note

While we take every precaution to protect your items, we recommend not bringing pieces with high sentimental value. For luxury items, ask about our secure display options.

A note on selling

There’s a lot you can do to make your rack attractive — from choosing clean, well-presented pieces to setting fair prices. We’ll do our best to bring visitors into the store and create a welcoming atmosphere. Still, selling second-hand always has an element of chance — sometimes things fly off the rack, and other times a piece just doesn’t find its match right away. Don’t be discouraged; every item has its moment, and giving them the opportunity is already a big step.

After this period, the Seller irrevocably authorises ReVue to donate, recycle, dispose of, or otherwise deal with any uncollected items without further notice and without compensation to the Seller.

If an item goes missing during the rental period but later reappears, ReVue will notify the Seller. The Seller has 14 working days to collect it, after which it may be donated.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, any warranty is excluded.

ReVue does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges and is not a party to such claims.
